What you see on PeptideSupermarket® is the same number the supplier is actually charging — captured at the source, not copied from somewhere down the chain. It's what keeps our [price comparisons](https://backup.peptidesupermarket.co.uk/compare-peptide-prices-uk) accurate, current, and accountable — and it's the one thing a site that simply re-publishes our figures can never replicate. Methodology ## How a price reaches this page No black box. Here's the exact path every price takes, from the supplier's checkout to your screen: 1. 1 ### A direct supplier relationship We partner with the supplier and agree permission to track their pricing. They know we list them, and they can reach us to correct anything. 2. 2 ### Fetched at the source Our systems read prices straight from the supplier's own website and sales platforms — the live figure, not a number lifted from a third party. 3. 3 ### Checked & standardised We normalise everything to a like-for-like basis (such as price per mg) so comparisons are fair and you are not caught out by pack sizes. 4. 4 ### Published & refreshed daily Prices update automatically on a daily cycle, and data that goes stale is flagged rather than left to mislead. Why it matters ## Why direct sourcing matters Pricing is only useful if it's right. A note on copycats ## Beware sites that just mirror our data As the UK's most comprehensive peptide price comparison service, we've seen a number of newer sites appear that publish pricing closely mirroring the data we collect. Sites such as **saveonthevial.com** and **thevialreport.com** present themselves as independent verifiers — but to our knowledge they do not hold direct data-sharing arrangements with the suppliers they list, and we can't see how, or how often, their figures are genuinely checked at the source. The most recent arrival, **viralpeps.co.uk**, goes further still. It hasn't just mirrored our data - it has reproduced this site almost page for page: the same navigation, the same page structure, and the same headlines and copy, word for word. We've documented it in Exhibit C below. We raise this for one reason: inaccurate pricing has real consequences. A figure that was copied once and never refreshed can send you to the wrong supplier, at the wrong price, with no one accountable for the mistake. Before you trust any price comparison, ask: - Does the site actually work with the suppliers it lists? - Is the pricing fetched at the source, or copied from elsewhere? - How recently was it updated — and can you tell? - Do they explain their method openly, like this page does? The evidence ## Don't take our word for it We don't expect you to take any of this on faith. Here are two things you can see for yourself. They aren't collecting this data from suppliers. They're taking it from us.
